Welcome to the Westerham Branch of the Kent Beekeepers' Association (KBKA).
A call from the Training Apiary.
If you have a spare bee suit that could be used by trainee bee keepers please email: firstname.lastname@example.org or contact Tracy on 07879 234253
We are about 50 members interested in bees and beekeeping mainly in the area surrounded by Biggin Hill, Tatsfield, Oxted, Edenbridge, Hever, Bough Beech and Brasted.
We meet during the winter months in Westerham usually for lectures by visiting specialists and our own members. During the active beekeeping season we meet for demonstrations by experienced beekeepers in our members’ apiaries.
If you are interested in bees or beekeeping you are welcome to attend any of our meetings. Visit the Meetings and Events page for details of the programme and where we meet.
If you are interested in learning more about bees and how to get started with bees, visit our page on Getting Started.
The Local Honey page gives some useful information about local honey and lists sources of local honey for sale in our area.
For advice or help to deal with a swarm, go to our page on Swarms.
In the interests of internet security, the Westerham Branch now has its own Gmail account: email@example.com
If you would like to send an email to any member of the committee or to a ‘useful contact’, please in future use this account which will be monitored by Jane Skinner, and will act as a one-stop-shop for all contacts.
