& they are entering your roof or in a bird box & look like this: 
They are the Tree Bumble Bee [Bombus Hypnorum]
During the months of April to July we get a large number of calls about this particular bumble bee. If they are causing a nuisance, click here for their life cycle and what can be done about them.

And the flying bees look like the picture above they are definitely honey bees, so..........

Autumn & Winter Feeding
A colony will need 16/18 kg of stores to keep them going through the winter. If you take the honey off late August a strong colony should collect this over the next couple of months. If they do not then read the pdf document below on autumn & winter feeds.
