Winter lectures 2018

We will be back at our usual venue, Atomwide, Cray Avenue, Orpington, BR5 4BQ but to fit everything in we would ask that everyone arrive for 7pm for Tea & Coffee so we can begin at 7.30pm. Our talk is on the Senses of the HoneyBee and will be presented by John Hendrie. This will be followed by short presentations on the history of the Orpington Branch and Apiary and then some delicious Cheese, Biscuits, Wine and Cake. Please come along and extend this invitation to any old club members you may still be in touch with and neighbouring club members too.

Get involved in bee breeding. Like all other forms of life bees can be improved by selective breeding. BIBBA encourages beekeepers to work together in breeding groups. Much has been achieved but more could be done by beekeepers working together. Subs are £20 per annum and the Bee Improvement magazine is included in the subscription fee.
