Aliya Mohammed Ali Sajwani, a PhD student at Sultan Qaboos University, won the largest number of prizes in the National Honey Show held in London 2012 for the Omani honey she exhibited.
What I would like are volunteers to converse with members of the public over the three days or even help to set up on Thursday 12th July 2012. The show is open to the public on 13th – 15th July 2012.
The Bromley and Orpington Beekeepers Associations are holding their annual honey show on Saturday 17th September at Emmanuel Church, The Grove, West Wickham, BR4 9JS. The show opens to the public at 10am and admission is free. As well as candle making, a raffle, home made refreshments and honey tasting this year the beekeepers are staging two free talks for would-be beekeepers who are thinking of taking up the hobby. The talks last for an hour and take place at 11.00am and 2.30pm, all are welcome.
