Introduction to bees and beekeeping, 10.30 to 5.00, on sun. 26 May or Sat. 8 June 2013. Another practical days beekeeping intended for those thing about keeping a hive or two of bees or those that have just started I have found that they need to know more. Cost £50, bee suits hire £8. Our basic beekeeping course is the essential basis for a successful beginning to beekeeping, and will serve the purpose of developing knowledge for those already keeping bees and an introduction for those contemplating beekeeping. No-one should take up beekeeping without a basic grounding which this course aims to give.
