Are you interested in keeping bees?

Bromley branch welcomes all those interested in beekeeping to join us. We provide many services to members including foulbrood insurance, honey extractor hire, comprehensive beebook library, and affiliated membership to the BBKA which includes Bee Craft magazine. We publish our own newsletter and support beginners in getting started in the craft. We meet monthly at the apiary club with hive demonstrations.

Make contact with us on our website or just turn up at our regular meetings. Introduce yourself to either Jennifer Spon-Smith (Chairman) or Clive Watson (Vice Chairman) and we will make you very welcome. You may handle some live bees if you wish.

Join BIBBA the Bee Improvement and Bee Breeding Association

Get involved in bee breeding. Like all other forms of life bees can be improved by selective breeding. BIBBA encourages beekeepers to work together in breeding groups. Much has been achieved but more could be done by beekeepers working together. Subs are £20 per annum and the Bee Improvement magazine is included in the subscription fee.
