Dear Fellow Members,

The next couple of months are going to be pretty busy.  We have two outside events coming up:

Saturday, 19^th June Wickham Common Primary School, Gates Green Road, West Wickham, BR4 9DG.

Saturday, 26^th June Oak Lodge Primary School, Chamberlain Crescent, West Wickham, BR4 0LJ.

There will be the usual candle rolling, honey sales, observation hive etc, so please do come along and lend a hand if you can. If you can only do an hour or so that’s fine, it all helps. We will start setting up at about 9.00 a.m. for both events so if you can help please let either Mary Slater (maryeslater@yahoo.co.uk) or myself (Link above) know. Mary is organising a quiz for the children so we will probably need a few extra pairs of hands.

We don’t have an apiary meeting on the first Sunday in July as we are usually at Keston Common Countryside Day but unfortunately that is not taking place this year. So instead, on Sunday, 4^th July, we are having a working party at Dorset Road, Elmers End (allotments) 11.00 a.m onwards. This is where we store the various pieces of equipment we use for our events and it all needs a good sort out, as does the container in which it is kept. Any help you can give is much appreciated and, as the saying goes, many hands make light work.
