Dear Fellow Members,

Many thanks to those of you who were at Dorset Road this morning. The plan was to move the van body in which we store our marquees and other equipment we use for our outside events into its permanent position. It wasn't a great distance, probably no more than 20 ft, but not that easy. However, with the use of blocks of wood, scaffold poles and sheer determination, we achieved our goal. Clive, Mick, Barry and Claire then gave it a coat of paint.  In the heat the paint was almost drying on the brush but despite only having an undercoat, it now looks very smart.

Our next event is Foal Farm, Biggin Hill on Sunday, 11th July. Do come along and lend a hand. Setting up will start around 9.00 a.m. and any help you can give, even if its only for an hour or so, will be very helpful.
