KSRC Beekeeping Course - Improver Key Skills

Published 3 October, 2016

Honey Bee

The KSRC winter season kicks off 1 month from today on Tuesday 1st November 2016.

It will be an updated and expanded version of the course we ran last winter to great acclaim, aiming to cover many of the key skills areas of beekeeping in some detail.

The 5 evening sessions at Tyland Barn near Maidstone will cover Bee Management, Swarm Control, Varroa Control, Winter Preparations and Bee Health.

On each occasion the format will be to have a talk/lecture on the topic followed, after tea, by small group discussion of various "scenarios" that are posed - beekeepers nearly always have options and choosing the best for particular circumstances is challenging for those getting beyond the beekeeping basics.

As ever, full details and booking info are available at the website - www.ksrcbees.org.uk.
