Sunday 5th September @ 11.30am Kent House Leisure Garden charity day and Apiary Meeting. Members open hives (depends on the weather) and talk about beekeeping, just turn up and introduce yourself. Refreshments provided.
Saturday 18th September Bromley & Orpington honey show at Emmanuel Church, The Grove, West Wickham, Kent, BR4 9JS. Doors open at 10am. Including FREE Introduction to beekeeping lectures. Morning and afternoon sessions: 11am - 12am & 2.30pm - 3.30pm. Show closes: 4:30pm.

Get involved in bee breeding. Like all other forms of life bees can be improved by selective breeding. BIBBA encourages beekeepers to work together in breeding groups. Much has been achieved but more could be done by beekeepers working together. Subs are £20 per annum and the Bee Improvement magazine is included in the subscription fee.
