Bromley Beekeepers will be running another course for those contemplating a beginning in beekeeping. Whilst it is classroom based, there will be an emphasis on the practicalities of beekeeping, and how tha relates to the activities and requirements of the bees themselves. The syllabus followed has been devised by the British Beekeepers Association.

Taking the BBKA Basic Assessment of proficiency in beekeeping involves an hour of hive opening and verbal grilling.
