The course is aimed at people who are interested in taking up beekeeping or want to learn more about bees. A practical and theory based session showing bees and the hive, we will cover the basics. Protective clothing will be provided 19th May 2012, 9am – 1pm.

Beginner's Beekeeping Course 2012
Four sessions each of three hours theory and practical includes opening active hives, you will handle bee’s before you have to commit to keeping them! Starts August 11th, 18th, Sept 1st & 8th 2012.

Bromley 2012 Winter Course for Beginner Beekeepers
Bromley Beekeepers will be running another course for those contemplating a beginning in beekeeping. Whilst it is classroom based, there will be an emphasis on the practicalities of beekeeping, and how tha relates to the activities and requirements of the bees themselves. The syllabus followed has been devised by the British Beekeepers Association.
