A worker honeybee in summer lives only 6 to 8 weeks from the time she hatches as an adult bee. Before that, it takes just 3 weeks for her to develop from an egg.

Introduction to Bees and Beekeeping Day
Introduction to bees and beekeeping, 10.30 to 5.00, on sun. 26 May or Sat. 8 June 2013. Another practical days beekeeping intended for those thing about keeping a hive or two of bees or those that have just started I have found that they need to know more. Cost £50, bee suits hire £8. Evening Class in Basic Bee Husbandry
