High Tension Wires Performance Group
New for 2008 will be The High Tension Wires Performance Group Project. The Project will be for adult student of mine plus other interested guitar players to meet on a once a month basis and perform songs in an "acoustic guitar orchestra" type setting. I have a number of people already interested in this but please contact me if you find this project appealing.
Good news!!
Rotosound guitar strings are in my opinion the best. They are a leading manufacturer in Britain of guitar strings and if you have not tried them yet you should. I approached them a while ago regarding a sponsership deal for the website and they have agreed.
G7th Capo's
I am now endorsing and using G7th Capo's. These Capo's are simply stunning and I can't reccomend them high enough. If you're in the hunt for a capo at the moment treat yourself to one of these, you won't be disappointed!
What's going on!
My annual performance evening for children will take place at Blackheath Rugby Club on Thursday 6th December at 7.30pm. All the student have been working really hard with their pieces and a great evening is in store. All the procceds from the evening will go towards the music department at Notre Dame school.
Schools
I am pleased to say that the school work I'm involved with is going really well and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of the head teacher's for their support. The schools are: Christ Church School, Wyborne School, Notre Dame School, Pointers School and Our Lady of Grace School.
Gigs
I am currently the resident guitar player at Abaco Restaurant (Bluewater) and Bartellas Restaurant (Hildenborugh Kent). For forth coming dates please check my gig guide page.
Session work
I recently had the opportunity to provide pieces of music for two websites, the first piece is called "A golden summer" and the link is www.honeyshow.co.uk and the second piece is called "Eastern Sunset" www.kentbee.com/himalaya This piece was played using a Roland GR20 Guitar Synthersizer.
