Why Rotosound Strings are the best

I have been using Rotosound strings now for about 15 years. Like most guitar players I’ve tried most brands but I always seem to come back to Rotosound, the reason is simple…

Electric guitar
My preferred strings for electric guitar playing are the Roto pinks 9 – 42 gauge. These strings have a nice bright tone; they’re very stable regarding tuning and extremely durable. In fact I can only ever recall breaking 3 strings ever, that’s impressive.

Acoustic guitar
My preferred strings for acoustic guitar are the Rotosound Jumbo King Jk10 phosphor bronze extra light 10 – 50 gauge. These strings are great for me because I perform in an acoustic duo where I’m required to plays lots of solos. They sound great and are perfect for those tricky string bends. If your style of playing is more suited towards finger picking or strumming then I would recommend the slightly heavier JK11 set strung at 11 – 52 gauge.

Classical guitar
My favourite nylon strings are the Superia CL2 normal tension strings. They have a lovely round tone and are have great tuning stability, my playing demands styles from classical to flamenco and these strings can handle that with ease. They also sound good when using a pick.

Summary
All of these string packs have been tested over a number of years and come highly recommended. If you don’t believe me try them for yourselves and let me know what you think, I’d be interested to hear your comments.
